Constant forces:
During one individual step of treatment three aligners of different layer thickness are worn in weekly intervals. Each step has 3 aligners (soft, medium, hard) used for 1 week each.
Clinical studies brought evidence that the use of soft/medium/hard aligners is very important in order to get regular and constant forces on the teeth. Each step enables progressive tooth movement.
Also, the very thin first layer thickness of the aligner triggers the lowest biological energies that stimulate the reorganization processes within the Desmodont. The usual pain of pressure thus can be avoided.

Most of the other aligner techniques treatment is only based on the teeth position. The eCligner system is unique as it does not use a simple computerized simulation to move teeth. Instead, it incorporates traditional orthodontic principles using X-Ray analyses and full-face analysis into the digital treatment software and enables more efficient and effective tooth movement in less time.
